It's So Weird

Hello!

We had divisions with the assistants the other day and they were giving me some hints that I might leave!!! But we will see! I feel like I won’t leave because I want to leave!! 

But if I do stay it’ll be fine because I think we are going to baptize a guy named Sergio this week and then we found this family that is super crazy, but crazy in a good way!! So we are working with them right now!!!

I’m still tripping so hard about this whole Savannah marriage thing!!!! It’s so weird!!!!!   I still can’t rap my head around the idea of Savannah being married!  At least they will live close and I can actually kind of have a sister!

Humble Me

This week has been hard!! I’ve been trying to do everything right but we just aren’t seeing progress in anyone! I think I’m going to try and be more obedient! Not sure how but I’m going to try!! I think God is going to humble me and leave me here for another six weeks!

I got so sick yesterday! It was the first time I had to stay in the house all day! Every time I stood up, I threw up and it sucked!! But I’m doing a little bit better now.

Well I got to go, but keep praying for me because I need it!!! LOVE YOU!

Conference

This week was good! It started out with divisions with our zone leader and I just destroyed him in our area. I was kind of getting sick of all the crap they were telling me about how I wasn’t working hard... so I just decided to destroy him! They still say I’m lazy but how the kid felt after the day says otherwise ;) hahaha

This week was Semana Santa and that was nuts! Everyone went to the coast or they were in the city carrying around big statues of Mary. It was hard to have lessons but it was all-good! We went and met a lot of members and they said they wanted to help us in the work so we have a lot more support now, which is great!

Conference!!!!!!!!!!! I love conference! It’s just different in the mission! You actually pay attention and learn a ton!!! I love some things I learned this week and we also got a couple people to go to church and a family!!!!!!! I’m stoked! The family of Louis and Sylvia! They have a son as well so we are working really hard with them!!!

Not much else to tell you!!! I bought some ECCO shoes in the megapaca for 15 bucks- they weren’t even used!!!  I also bought a nerf gun! The ones we have at home! And I love it ;) hahaha thank you for everything and don’t make me too jealous with your trips!!

Learning Patience

Isn't she the cutest.  So many cute kids!

It"s been hard here lately!  I have been working SO HARD, but I still haven't been able to bring a lot of people to church. I just keep working and I put my trust in God!  I'm just learning patience and I'm trying to love my companion!!!  Thank you for the little notes!

7 Months

We got pizza to cheer up my new companion. The kid can play the piano and it's sick because it’s the first time I’ve heard piano in a meeting in 7 months!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s been hard here lately!!! I have been working so hard and we just aren’t seeing progress with anybody!!!!!!! It is very discouraging but we keep working hard because we know that God is going to bless us!! I don't have time to write, but know that I love you.

Shaking Hands

WOW THIS WEEK WAS NUTS!

We had three baptisms set up for this past weekend but they all fell through because we had some complications with the mom of the family... but it's all good because they are going to all get baptized and we know it.

Monday night we had this sick activity where we had a campfire and played games and ate a ton of food! We had lots of people come and we have some new people to teach so I’m stoked!!

Tuesday my old companion finished his mission and headed home and I became a trainer!!!! My new comp is from Mexico and he is sick! ELDER SOLONA! We are working so hard and I’m killing the kid hahaha. Our area is just straight up hills and the kid is dying but we are stilling running everyday!

Wednesday, Elder NEIL L ANDERSON came and spoke to our mission!!!!! I GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND! And then he gave all of his talk in Spanish because he is PILAS!!!

I've got a ton of crazy stories but everyone in the mish says I can't share them because I'll scare my mom ;) so you all will have to wait until I get home hahahah!

I'm Going to be a Trainer

This week we baptized YEEEEEEHAAWWWWWWWW! We were so stoked to baptize here!

I made a promise with my district that I would buy pizza every time we baptize. My district was freaking out because my comp and I baptized and we are going to eat pizza hahaha!!! We are going to baptize 3 people this week!!!

Sunday we had a sleepover with our lider de distrito, which was super fun, we had to wake up early for p day because we went to Antigua. That place was so sick!! We ate crepes again and they were so good!!!!! We also bought some cool souvenirs.

When we got home, we had the best lesson with this family we are going to baptize this next weekend!!! Next Sunday is going to be a good day.

I'M GOING TO BE A TRAINER NEXT WEEK! Holy snikes!!!!!!! He is brand new and I’m not sure if he is gringo or not!! I’m stoked! We are going to have change meeting and then the next day Elder Christofferson of the 12 apostles is going to speak to our MISSSIONNNNN!!!! YEEEHHHHAAAWWWWWWW

My health is really good!! I have been running all week and it is actually kind of fun! We run to our house every night and it’s at the top of the mountain so its rough but I like it! Not so sure about my comp though haha ;)

I can’t really think of anything else! I’ve literally been running everywhere and I don’t remember anything because I feel like yesterday I wrote one of these haha! I’m going to try and be better with remembering things so I can let you guys know what’s happening.

Thanks for letting me use a little extra money. All the kids love me in the church because of all the candy I bring ;) I’m like Santa hahaha!
