100 Days

Today I have exactly 100 Days left!!!!!!!!! Super nuts, I’m pretty sure it’s going to fly by!

Monday we didn't have p-day because we had interviews.  So we had p-day on Tuesday, and we seriously played soccer for 4 hours. EVERYONE regretted it haha. That night in the phone calls everyone told us they were dead, but it was fun so it’s all-good.

We have been working a lot with one investigator named W----- He is so cool!  One day I was talking with my comp and I said ¨I just want to find someone to baptize.¨ Literally that moment the spirit hit me like a wall, it stopped me in my tracks and told me to return from where we came. I returned and literally walked straight to this guys door.  He just loves the gospel and got baptized this week. I gave him a white shirt and tie and he seriously looks like a future bishop!!! I’m pretty happy.

At the beginning of the week, we were in a trio with Elder Watkins from Indiana.  He is a convert who was baptized 2 years ago.  I have learned a ton from him! He wasn’t scared of anything! We talked to every person and it was fun working with him.

Wednesday we had to go to the capital early in the morning to drop of Elder Watkins with his new comp! It's kind of a hard day because it's a 3 1/2 hour bus ride to the capital and 3 hours back so we were pretty tired.

Saturday we helped Hermano Walter build his house and we got up on the roof and put some tin on the house it was fun!

Sunday we baptized Hermano Walter and it was super dope! He was so happy when he got baptized and he is so pumped to be a member of the church!

Well I love you guys and thanks for everything.

Technique and Worthiness

HELLOOOO!!!  This week is kind of weird because we had interviews today with president so we are just going to write today and tomorrow will be p day! This week passed by soooo quick! I feel like I’m writing you guys every two days.

I have been thinking a lot about the mission lately and what I have to do to be a better missionary.  A couple weeks ago we had a conference with Elder Duncan and he taught us a ton of really good things. He told us missionary work has two parts - technique and worthiness! If we aren’t finding people to baptize we need to change our technique or our worthiness! So I’ve been pondering what I need to do to be a better missionary.  I had the thought - all I have to do every week is find at least one person that will get baptized in three weeks! And that’s what we have been doing lately! We haven’t been baptizing like crazy but we have been baptizing almost every week and that’s what it's really all about! We have two people who are progressing really well for this weekend and then another sister who is getting ready for the next week!  We are working and talking with as many people as we can!

Sunday after church I got really sick and I was just throwing up in the street.  Everyone was looking at me like I was a drunk hahaha!

Well I really can't think of anything else! It's so hot that I can't remember anything hahaha!  The time is flying by! After today I’m only going to have to write you 14 times. It blows my mind!

I LOVE YOU GUYS A TON!!!

Destroyed Clothes

All of my clothes ARE DESTROYED! My shoes are falling off of my feet and all my pants and shirts have huge holes! I bought some new shirts and some new pants so hopefully I won't have to walk home naked! Hahaha!

The weeks are passing by so fast that I literally can’t remember anything hahaha! However, I do remember we had two baptisms this week.  Our mission president came to both because he was already in town for a conference!

Hermana Mayra and Hermanita Kiara! They are both so amazing. Every time someone gets baptized it just gets me stoked because I know the likelihood they get into heaven is a little bit higher ;)

This week we had our district conference. All the members from our district came to our church and there was a ton of people! I think there was around 600 people! Super full!  President and Hermana Markham spoke and they both gave good talks.  Later that day we started checking on some investigators because we didn't see them at church; and they started telling us that they WENT TO CHURCH! Haha we didn’t see them because there were so many people!  They all liked it so now we have 3 families that are progressing very well!

I’ve been learning so much in the mission! I think it's preparing me to be patience and be a leader!
Not much else to say but I love you guys and thanks for everything!

Conference in Spanish

This week was really good! We have been running around getting a lot of people ready for baptism! We had a ton of people attend church for conference, so we are going to baptize two this weekend and then a family of two the next weekend! It’s been pretty dope lately!

The weather is still hot! Everyone told us that it was going to calm down a little bit after the Semana Santa but that was a lie hahaha! It’s pretty dang hot but it's all good!

On Thursday we had leadership council.  We had to travel for 4 hours to the capital! On the bus ride I got sick. Fortunately, I was able to get it all out of my system before the meeting hahaha! With the travel home we got back pretty late! Not a lot of time to work!

Saturday and Sunday were awesome! I wasn’t able to watch Conference in English because they only had it in Spanish. I understood it all but I did miss the voices of the prophet and apostles. I still learned so much! I feel like all my goals need to be tied in with charity and being a good father...it’s going to be dope!

Monday we just played soccer in the heat...it was fun and today we had our zone training that went very well.  It was also my last one as a zone leader!!! Because next month I’m going to be a trainer again!!!!! Woohoo!

It's kind of weird but my time is winding down! I have like 3 months and 3 weeks left... it’s so weird!

Well I’ve got to go! We have a lot of work to do today! Pray for me and I'll always pray for you guys!

LOVE YOU A TON!
