It Was Freezing

Here is a pic of my district!

Man, seriously I miss the snow so much! This week IT WAS FREEZING here in Guate! We were walking around and I was so confused because my body is not used to the cold anymore! I had like 4 blankets on at night haha!

We are having a ton of problems with some Sisters in our zone.  We are going to see what we do with them to straight them out! Being a leader is destroying me, if something isn’t right in the zone, it’s our fault! I’m praying that the next change God will send me to a pretty and calm place.  I don’t know if I’m going to bring you guys here when we come back because its pretty ugly and rough!

Thanks for everything and I'll see you next week!

Short Note

Right now I’m doing divisions with the assistants and I’m with Elder Packer Wilkes! He entered the mission with me and he is from Alpine, Utah! He is a funny kid, so I’m super stoked to work today!

Right now it is burning hot! But it’s all good!

Today we had a mission reunion and they announced that nobody is going to end their mission as a leader now. I’m sooo pumped!! I like being a zone leader but being a regular missionary is wayyyyy more funnnn!!!!!!!

Well I love you and thanks for everything!

Preparing Men

This week started out really well! We had divisions and I worked with Elder Sweat again! This kid is seriously the funniest kid eveeerrr!!! We worked all day then came home and he was trying to teach me how to make deep fried Oreos - haha it was so funny!

The rest of the week was pretty normal! We have some MEN preparing to be baptized! Usually we try not to focus on just women in the mission but they are always more willing to live the gospel.

We have been teaching this one guy and his name is Robin! He is awesome and has gone to church a couple of times! He is a fisherman and has a ton of money because he owns a company that sells fish to Wal-Mart in Guatemala! He loves the gospel and is so ready to get baptized this next weekend!

We are also teaching Hermana Samata and Roel! They are two young adults who are awesome! We visited them with two other young adults who were baptized recently, and they got along really well! They both committed to being baptized January 23rd as well!

Sunday we had several people attend church. We also had a meeting that night with the Stake President. He taught us a lot of things and he is really supporting us in the work!

Monday we played soccer with all of the kids in the ward and it was a blast until I got home and realized I was burnt to a crisp!

Today I got a call from President and he told me one of our elders is going home for heart problems. I had to tell the elder and he just burst out crying! It was really sad! But he will be fine I’m sure!

Well I love you guys and thanks for everything!

New Year's Eve & Sleep

THIS WEEK WE BAPTIZED - Hermana Alba and Vilma! We are also going to baptize their brother in a couple of weeks and then that family is going to the temple in a year! I’m stoked!!

I really can’t think of anything and we don’t have that much time. New Year's Eve was pretty sick - I spent that night sleeping because I was so tired! So Happy New Years! The first day of the year we had our leadership council and it was fun seeing everyone!

Yesterday we had changes and I received Elder Webb from Arizona! He is a strange kid but it's going to be good this change!!!

I LOVE YOU GUYS!! I'll write more next weekkkkk!!!
Enjoy the snow!
